The 2003 Spring College of Education Faculty and Staff Convocation and 
PT3 Grant Highlight was held on January 17, 2003.

Dr. Jeanne Tunks provided a hands-on demonstration on how she integrates the iBook into her preservice courses. As each faculty member entered the room, an iBook was handed to them. Basic features, as well as check out procedures and troubleshooting tips were discussed. Dr. Tunks distributed a handout with several activities that she uses in one of her courses. Faculty members were told to choose one to complete on their own. Several facilitators were present to assist with

Theresa Overall introduces the Dr. Jeanne Tunks, who speaks with COE faculty on how she 
integrates the iBook cart into her courses. 
Dr. Gerald Knezek shows COE faculty how to open and turn on the iBooks while 
Garry Mayes explains how the wireless connection works.
COE faculty complete a lesson using the iBooks.
